Pumpkin Party

Last year we started a Pumpkin party tradition. We had our pumpkin party with my whole family this year rather then just our little family. For dinner we made Pumpkin waffles (they were DELICIOUS!

I was hoping to get a picture of the whole huge stack of waffles, but by the time my mom got to them with the camera they were almost gone!

Roman was loving his waffles with whipped cream on top!

After dinner we did pumpkin carving. Roman, Gabby and Savannah standing by the table of pumpkins waiting to get started.

Roman even helped gut his pumpkin.

Pumpkins being carved everywhere. Spencer, Roman, Jaren, Becky, Kaylee, Marla and Savannah.

Roman chose a ghost for his pumpkin. We let him help us carve it. We would get the little knife on a straight line and let him help cut along those while I did the little areas and the curves. He loved the way his pumpkin turned out.

He was so excited about it that as soon as it was finished he had to go into the living room and show it to Daddy and Hudson.

While he was carrying the pumpkin he tripped (see the shoe under his feet, I think I caught the trip as it was happening) and dropped his pumpkin. It completely smashed in.

Roman was so sad that his pumpkin broke that we put it back together with toothpicks (even though it was only a week it didn't survive until Halloween)
