I guess we wasted our money

So you know how everyone says not to waste your money on presents, kids just like the boxes? Well, we finally got Roman his chair for Christmas, it's waiting at my parents house, I thought he was going to be so excited about it until today. Well, we are neck deep in packing and I turned on Cars for Roman, went upstairs for a minute, came back down and Roman found himself a chair to sit on to watch Cars. Just goes to show. . .why buy gifts when kids just like the boxes!
