Roman is 2 months old today. We don't have his official 2 month appointment until next week, but we had a quick check appointment today, and WOW, has the little man gained weight. For those who don't know, when Roman was 2 1/2 weeks old he was still down from his birthweight, so the pediatrician was concerned. At 2 1/2 weeks he weighed 7 lbs 1 oz. At 4 weeks he had gained 1 lb and was up to 8 lbs 1 oz, apparently he likes to be "And 1 oz" Today he was TWELVE lbs 1 oz. He gained 4 lbs in a month. WOW. I knew that he was getting bigger, but dang. He went from the 15th percentile for weight to "Well over the 50th percentile."
I'll have to try to get a picture of him tonight once he is awake for his 2 month pictures. The pediatrician was very pleased that he was smiling, cooing, laughing. She said she couldn't believe that he had a temper because he was so calm and just relaxed while we were there, and it was even nap time. Funny how he is so good at fooling people. Really he is usually happy, but when he gets mad WATCH OUT!
I know what's going on here.... all my pounds are going to Roman! Now hopefully he wants to gain 10 more. But for his sake I'll try to take it slow.
