We started out at the craft tables. We were planning to make a barn picture frame but they ran out (literally the table before us). I felt so bad for the girl working the craft area, she was young, probably early twenties and there were people yelling at her that there weren't enough. She was so sweet she found a little ladybug bookmark that he was able to put together. He loves it and has been showing it to everyone.
We went outside after that and Roman went on the pony ride. He loves riding ponies.
We went to the petting zoo area (reminded me of a little petting zoo that we went to in Vegas a year ago) Roman liked petting the turtle, but the sheep and goats were dirty. He wasn't really sure of them. The funniest thing to me was they had a camel. It looked like a baby camel (or a very small camel) but I have never seen a camel at a petting zoo before.
We watched part of an Australia Animal show but Roman was just too loud. We decided rather than being disruptive we would just go. We went just in time, it started raining as we were walking to our car.
I can't wait for the State Fair next month!
