Festibal of Roses

Yesterday Roman and I (and we convinced my sister Marla and our friend Tiffany to come with us) went to the Festival of Roses at the Catholic school near our house. We have seen the signs and have been looking forward to it for a couple of weeks (we didn't really know what it was, but it looked fun). Roman has been calling it the Festibal of Roses, telling everyone about it. He realyl loved it.

We decided that we wanted to go in the morning, and boy are we glad that we did. By the afternoon/evening every time we drove by there were so many cars. So many more then when we were there. Roman was able to ride all the rides he wanted to, play in the bounce house, slide down the inflatable slides, eat cotton candy, we checked everything out, really no lines, and he didn't have to share the rides with very many other kids. (In fact the second time he went into the bounce house he wanted me to tell the other kids to get out because he had it all to himself the first time, he really liked that).

Spencer took our camera with him to Moab on a camping trip that he went on with his dad and brothers so I just got a couple pictures with my phone, but you can tell Roman was having a great time!

  1. I wondered what that Festival was all about. Looks like we'll have to try it out next year...
