Friday night at the drive-in

Roman has just been LOVING the drive-in this summer. He asks to go all the time. He asks everyone to come with us. A few weeks ago he asked if Grandma and Grandpa S could go with us when they were in town. So we let him call Grandpa and invite him. They said they would love to and from that day on, Roman was asking almost daily if that was the day we were going to the drive-in.

Friday afternoon Grandpa and Grandma got to our house from California and Roman was so excited to go.



While we were waiting for the movies to start Roman was having fun playing in Grandma and Grandpa's car. He would climb in the back of the car, crawl through, open the side door and climb out, run back around.



We saw Toy Story 3 and Despicable Me. We let Roman stay up to watch both movies. (We paid for it big time the next day, he was such a grouch!) He was having such a great time, and loves both movies so we let him. Spencer, Hudson and I fell asleep during Despicable Me. Roman was in Grandma and Grandpa's car and they stayed awake with him.
