Arrrrrrr we be Parrrrrrrtying!

We had a pirate party for Roman today.



We were planning to do the party outside, but the rain changed our plans.

It was still SO much fun.

We started by making pirate hats and eye patches.

When the kids were done making their hats and patches they went on a treasure hunt. At the end there was a treasure chest with their loot bags.


Finally they decorated ice cream cone cupcakes, we sang Happy Birthday to Roman, opened presents and called it a day. Roman got SO many great gifts! So many CARS! You would think everyone knew that he loved Cars or something? Honestly he was in heaven. He still hasn't had a chance to play with all his cool new toys.




After the party Spencer went upstairs and put together Roman's gift from us. He got a Cars toddler bed and new Cars bedding. Roman loves his new bed.


All in all today was an absolutely fabulous day! I can't believe Roman is already 2! He is such a big boy! Probably one of Roman's favorite parts about today (and of course ours too) was that his Mommy Katie is here celebrating with us. We still have a few more days of celebrating!
