Tuesday in Review

Okay, so my sister, Becky, does a weekly review post. Today needed one of it's own.

So it was a day of lots of changes too.

Our original plans for today included:

Going to Wheeler Farm on a play date with our ward, then home to put Roman down for a nap, then to the VoiceMale Concert in the Brigham Young Park.

Well, we got up and went to meet for the play date but it was all muddy at Wheeler Farm so we decided to go to the Living Planet Aquarium instead. The kids liked it mostly, other than the group of summer program kids there that kept trampling them. . .

Then we came back to my house to let Roman nap.

We spent the afternoon scrapbooking. . .Even the kids had fun!

Then we ran a few errands just fun normal craziness.

We kept watching the weather and decided that we were still going to go to the concert. Got downtown still clear. Well, as we were walking over to the park we came across a couple who told us the concert had been moved to the Assembly Hall on Temple Square. The kids had fun playing at the fountain until we went inside.

Roman was dancing and clapping, and for the first about 30 minutes he had so much fun, but it started at bedtime so inevitably it was just too late. Then there was this lady sitting in front of us who turned around and told my sister who was holding Roman that she really should take "her" out if she was making so much noise, all happy noises mind you. . .grrr. Shouldn't bother me so much but it really did. Anyway, Spencer and Roman ended up going home so Roman could go to bed. He really needed to go to bed we have another long day ahead of us tomorrow!

  1. The aquarium is one place I always intend to take my kids but every time I drive past the parking lot is crammed pack and that worries me for what it entails inside!

  2. Somebody referred to Alex as a "she" just the other day, doesn't that just kill you?! Alex and Roman are both very manly, these people must need glasses!
