For the Birds

STILL playing catch up here on the blog. CLEAR back on October 1 we went to the Tracy Aviary with Becky, Kaylee and Gabby. We went almost exactly a year ago, but it was chilly then. It was nice and warm we let the kids set the pace. We wandered through the aviary looking at the birds, plants and activities.

Roman and Gabby found a peacock. I love how Roman was following it with his hands behind his back.

There was a really cool sand area that the kids had fun playing in. There were different things that they could play with that would show how much different birds could pick up with their beaks. Roman had fun playing with this giant syringe.

Kaylee really liked the big scoop that was how much a pelican could pick up in it's beak. Gabby was playing with everything.

Another play area...really not sure why this was there but anything Roman can use as a steering wheel he likes.

For some reason Roman was rolling down the walkways.

By the end Gabby, Roman and Kaylee were all rolling down the walkways. They had a good time...and really that's all that matters.

Somehow I didn't get many pictures of the birds...mostly just silly kids enjoying themselves.
