Dying

Eggs that is.

Last week Roman had Spring Break from school. I was actually looking forward to it. It would be nice to be able to sleep in. Not have to get up and get out the door first thing. Well, by Wednesday (he had only missed ONE day of school by then) we were both ready for him to get back to school. He was getting so restless. Thursday we decided to dye Easter eggs. Our plan was to do it while Hudson was taking his nap. Unfortunately Hudson didn't take much of a nap that day. So, he sat with us while we dyed eggs. First we colored them with crayons then we dyed them again and again (and again.)

This is Roman's egg that he drew of himself. He's making the same smile that he drew on the egg.

After they were all done we made a few green deviled eggs.
