Easter Baskets

Sunday morning we all sort of straggled out of bed. Roman and Hudson were finally up around 8:00. After Roman went to the bathroom we went down to see what the Easter Bunny had delivered. Roman saw Hudson's basket and immediately wanted it. We told him that he had a basket too but he was old enough that his was hidden so he needed to find it. He threw himself on the floor and started throwing the biggest tantrum. So big that he got to go back to bed for a few minutes to "Find his happy face."




Happy face found, he came back down a much more pleasant child and immediately found his basket. As soon as he saw all the cool things that were in/with his basket he completely forgot about Hudson's.

This year the Easter Bunny didn't bring any candy in baskets. There was a little bit in eggs for the egg hunt but that was it. We had to convince Roman to find the eggs. Even then he was slow at it. It took him almost an hour to find 2 dozen eggs.

Roman's basket was all about gardening/outdoors. He planted seeds and is goign to have his own little garden this summer. Just Saturday he told Spencer that he needed a shovel. Good thing the Easter Bunny was on top of that and already had one for him.
