Saturday afternoon (after going to the balloon festival in the morning) we went to a birthday party for my cousin Tiffany's son Carter. He is just a few months younger then Roman. We were one of the first people there and we were a little nervous about the weather. It was overcast and looking like it might rain. The pool is outside so we weren't sure how long we would be able to play in the pool. We waited for a bit while other people started to arrive. Finally after about 20-30 minutes Spencer and Roman got in their swimsuits. The clouds were still dark and it was a bit windy but it wasn't raining so they decided to just jump in. Speaking of jumping in...That's just what they did! Spencer, Marla, Kaylee, Paul, Andrew and Erik decided to all do cannon balls at the same time. They made a HUGE splash.

Roman even went down the water slide a few times. As long as Daddy stood at the bottom and caught him.

Spencer and Roman were both tired by the time they got out of the pool but they had a good time. Roman was even telling Spencer to let him go so he could "swim" to Marla at the end.
Oh...as for the birthday boy, Carter...He finally woke up from his nap and went out to swim for the last 15 or so minutes before everyone got out of the pool!
