Surprise visit

Saturday while we were at the Sandy 4th of July Celebration I got a text from Katie. She knew that we were probably busy, but just realized that they had a long layover in Salt Lake that night. We love seeing Katie and Scott so of course we took the opportunity to go to dinner with them. We picked them up from the airport and Katie had a cute book for Roman, Planes at the Airport. We went to Cafe Rio for dinner, and not surprising, Roman wanted to sit by Katie to eat dinner. He kept giving her hugs. He found a fun game to play with Scott. He would say "Booooooooo" (It really sounded more like Moooo) then Scott would act scared. Roman LOVED the reactions that Scott was giving him. Roman would say "Boo," Scott would act scared then Roman would laugh and laugh and laugh.

After dinner we stopped at The Gateway for a minute. Roman had fun running around like the crazy boy that he is. And of course gave Mommy Katie lots and lots of loves.

It was such a fun surprise to be able to see Katie and Scott again so soon. It was funny, just Friday Spencer said "You know, it's weird, but I miss Katie. She's been here so much lately, it's weird to not have her around." We need to find a time to get up and see them (and their amazing new house!) now too!
