Liberty Park rides

Today we went to Liberty Park to use the tickets we bought a few weeks ago but didn't get a chance to use because of the rain. The rides are only open Saturdays and Sundays now, so we decided last Friday when we were there to come again today. We got Roman all dressed in his swimsuit so that we could ride the rides then play in the water. As soon as we parked in the parking lot Roman saw the rides and was so excited that they were running.

There are only a few rides; planes, cars, swings (which Roman's too small for), a Ferris wheel, and a merry-go-round. We had 7 tickets (which you wouldn't think would be that hard to use, but we were so done by the time the tickets were gone). The second time we were in line to ride the planes we heard someone say that they wished that they would turn the water on so they could go cool down. After riding about 4 times we wandered over to the water area to see if we could see when they were going to reopen it. There were a few people working there so I asked them and they said the water would be down the rest of the day. Bummer! We went and used the rest of our tickets then got Roman changed out of his swimsuit into his regular clothes.
